BEING A NEW BORN AGAIN
To recreate the conditions of our earliest sensations in the Origin Pool, WAVESS™ developed numerous technological innovations. The most unique solutions were designed to offer weightlessness, light, colours, sounds, and vibrations in the way we experience them in the amniotic fluid. There are myriad challenges in recreating the feeling of having the weightless body of a baby whilst delivering all the spatial multisensory information of the Origin Pool experience, all within a safe and intimate environment. We had to create a wellness space at constant body temperature, both in the air and in the water, with an array of technologies that can operate at 80% humidity and even underwater.
A DEEPER SENSORY IMMERSION
The Origin Pool experience uses flotation technology so we can float effortlessly, as if there is no gravity. For deeper visual immersion and guided relaxation, the whole room can seamlessly become a precision colour lighting system or a display with ultra high resolution projections. To bring real soundscape environments to the pool with audiophile quality, we developed the first waterproof and salt-proof spatial audio system. Finally we invented Waterhaptics™, a unique underwater technology developed by Arny B. Arnold, to make the entire body of water move at will, delivering sound and haptic vibrations to the whole surface of our skin, through our entire body and hearing system. This immersive setup delivers the ultimate sound bath in the most natural way. The result is that all our senses are stimulated in a way only our deepest memories remember.
A CONTACTLESS DEEP MASSAGE
Waterhaptics™ Whole Body Stimulation generates a contactless deep massage with unique physiological benefits for our tissues, organs, and conductive bone structure, offering new levels of relaxation. The magnesium sulfate solution offers additional soothing, anti-inflammatory, exfoliation and detoxification to the skin. Finally, we elevated the experience with the many features an ultra-luxury spa demands, from the highest hygienic standards to natural warm, soft-touch materials and natural interaction with technology.
